FAQs

Can I BYO?
Food and beverages will be available to purchase at The Grand Tasting, Bubbles and Beats and Grapes of Mirth. No BYO please.

What is your cancellation policy?
Effervescence Tasmania is a collaborative effort amongst different producers, and each have their own cancellation policy. Because we recognise how important this information is in the ebb and flow of travel restrictions, cancellation policies are shown on the Effervescence Program page and in the ticketing portal.

Is public transport available to Josef Chromy Wines?
Bus transfers are available from Launceston (Bathurst St carpark at the corner of Bathurst and Brisbane) to Josef Chromy Wines for The Grand Tasting, Bubbles and Beats and Grapes of Mirth. Otherwise, Taxis and Uber are readily accessible as the winery is located between Launceston and the airport. Parking will be available on site.

Can I bring my own chair and umbrella to The Grand Tasting?
The Grand Tasting will be held in a large marquee that will offer shade. There will also be a number of large umbrellas around the site, plus beanbags and plastic chairs. As there will be plenty of outdoor space around the marquee, you are welcome to bring your own chairs, picnic blanket and hand-held shade umbrellas. Larger umbrellas and shade structures are hazardous if caught by the wind and therefore can't be brought on site.
