TIME FOR REBUILDING
The original objective for the Effervescence Tasmania festival was to increase the profile of Tasmania sparkling wine industry. Over the journey we have had documentaries made, multiple TV and radio reports, full page articles in international airline magazines, newspapers, wine, food and luxury lifestyle magazines. Quite simply - we are humbled by the amount of publicity and kind words.
It's been a remarkable 6 years of celebrating Tasmanian sparkling wine with such culinary icons as Tetsuya Wakuda, Jacques Reymond, Mark Best, Nick Raitt (Josef Chromy Wines), Matt Adams (Timbre) and Craig Will (Sillwater) among others.
We've hosted 1000's of people who travelled from interstate and overseas and had a lot fun and sore heads in the process. But in a post Covid-19 world, for an industry that relies on Travel, Tourism and Hospitality, time will be required to re-build. As such, Effervescence Tasmania will be on ice for the foreseeable future.
However, that hasn't stopped some of the best sparkling wine in world flowing, or brought the conversation to an end.
From Josef Chromy's Sparkling Wine Making Experience @ Home to Clover Hills Virtual Tastings and Master classes, to some amazing deals direct from the producers for Mother's Day and beyond; below are the social links of the founding producers and associated businesses of Effervescence Tasmania.
